

About Your Instructor
Sujit Dey, BS, MT, PCQi
Mr. Dey’s journey began in the Third World, where he firsthand encountered challenges posed by food-borne diseases. Armed with a BS in Biology and Chemistry, he committed himself to furthering his expertise through a Clinical Laboratory Technologist course, specializing in Microbiology and Parasitology. His professional path led him to a distinguished Missionary Hospital and ultimately to the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, where heled as the Chief of the Laboratory. At the embassy, he enhanced his credentials by becoming a ServSafe Certified Food Safety Instructor and Proctor, and in 2010, he took on the critical role of food safety officer for the U.S. Military's cafeteria in Baghdad Iraq.

Among many awards and professional achievements, he won the prestigious “Charles Robinson" Award from the former Secretary of States Hillary Clinton in 2012 for his contribution to Food Safety.
Besides being certified as a HACCP Manager from NC State University, Mr. Dey completed his PCQi from Food Safety Preventive Controls Allice, Foodborne Disease Outbreak Investigation course from CDC, cGMP training from Georgia Tech & ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor course from SGS. He is at the final stage of becoming certified Global Food Safety Auditor for food manufacturing facilities.
Mr. Dey regularly participates in charity activities and supports a Bangladeshi charity that serves underprivileged children.
